Tomorrow is my last day on Jersey Ward, and I’m really going to miss it. Although it is an incredibly busy and sometimes stressful ward to work on, it couldn’t have been a better first placement. The staff were fantastic, the patients were lovely (most of the time) and I can’t even start to comprehend how much I’ve actually learnt. I’m going to feel quite sad tomorrow.
My next placement is a Learning Disabilities placement at a day center near West Drayton. They sound absolutely lovely, and were so kind on the phone. I really hope they are. I’m looking forward to it; although I’m going to miss Jersey, it’s time to move on.

It was so lovely. I’ve had such a great day. Saw the Queen, and she looked babe in blue.
Even though I’m tired a lot of the time, I’m so happy right now. I’m doing something I’ve always wanted to do, I have the best friends ever, a lovely boyfriend, I have a family who I love to pieces, a roof over my head and food on my plate.
It’s easy to forget what you really have, and how lucky you are. I’ve had some bad things happen during my life, but I prefer to be happy. Everyone should stop moaning.
Today was a good day.
